Good enough?
I finished a mirror last week.
Process nailed.
Paint is sticking.
Lines are sharp.
Colours are good.
Even posted about the S A T I S F A C T I O N on Instagram.
Someone asked if it was for sale.
It will be, I wrote.
I was happy. Until my sharp-eyed daughter noticed tiny bits of dust and fibres in the paint and varnish.
Now I can't unsee them.
The objects aren't supposed to be perfect. Then I would just get a machine to make them. But where is the line between good imperfections and bad craftsmanship?
The mirror is done.
But is it good enough to leave the studio?
