Notes from the work.
Objects. Colour. Thoughts. Doubts. Decisions. Random.
Ongoing.
Latest on top.
Highlights from the log.
Sent as a letter.
Shelf update
Added starting prices to the shelf.
Custom is possible.
Also decided to keep the first three blocks as early work.
Not everything has to leave.
Instagram reset
Posted a white post on Instagram yesterday.
Needed a pause in the feed. A reset.
Today I posted the first real POP X STUDIO post.
Blocks. Sticks. Colours. Copenhagen.
A shift.
Clearer now.
Web numbers
Looked at the web numbers.
Not much yet. Still something.
People go to the log.
People go to the shelf.
They stay there longer.
Some pages are dead ends.
Small tweaks for now.
Shelf update
Added colour swatches to the shelf entries.
It reads better now.
Less guessing.
Each swatch links to its colour card.
Block no. 03 out
Walked with block no. 03 today.
Stopped by a new bookshop on Vester Voldgade.
Then went behind BLOX and found a rolling storage cage.
The light was too blue.
The contrast worked.
Channel and colour edit
I closed the Instagram channel and sent a final note through The Colour Edit.
Both are closed now.
Stripe satisfaction
Painted stripes today.
Sharp edges.
Precision.
Quite satisfying.
Memphis edition coming up.
Closing the channel
Another thought before coffee.
Speaking of energy. Lightness. Sunshine.
Not much of that in the Instagram channel.
I’m closing it.
The log is ongoing.
The objects live on the shelf.
The occasional letter picks things up now and then.
Instagram stays for fragments.
Now coffee.
Life. Lightness. Air.
Had a sunny day.
Went to see Daddy Issues at Gammel Strand.
Walked around the city with a block in the bag.
It stayed there.
The sun and sunny people got to me.
I need more air in this project.
More life. More humour. Less control.
Spontaneity. Sunshine.
First block out
The first block left the building today.
Off to Bornholm.
A custom block for a friend who helped me test custom blocks and the site.
Feels good.
And the sun is shining.
What log holds
Before my morning coffee, I had a thought about the log.
It can be more than colours, objects, tests, process and decisions.
Also notes. Random ones too.
Things that stayed.
Things that resonate.
Things I don’t fully understand yet.
Things I learnt from.
Things that opened something.
Things.
Now coffee.
GK block photos
Block and me went out for coffee.
Took photos of the block.
Shot at Prolog Coffee on Papirøen.
They have this bookcase.
I like books.
Sign up and log
After a chat with C last night, it got clear this morning.
I don’t want to build the next part of this only on Instagram. I want my own space too.
Today I set up a newsletter and started this log.
Hello firehorse energy.
Now things can also move out of Instagram.
Not just deeper into it.
