Colour is physical to me. One colour can make me excited, but when two colours click, it can feel almost euphoric. I put them together for my own pleasure. And I just keep going until I feel it.

I name colours after what they make me think of. Blue before breakfast. Soil on white sneakers. Highlighter left open. Sometimes words can make you see a colour before you see it.

The collection is my alphabet. The colours are fixed, but the combinations are (almost) unlimited. That’s why I repeat. Change just one colour and the whole thing shifts.

I keep the forms simple. The colours make the object.
